A Note from the President
Another conference in the books and another terrific job by the conference committee. The agenda was exciting, informative, eye opening, but still upbeat about our industry. While attendance was down in Las Vegas, those that did attend benefited tremendously. The messages were very clear in that newspapers face the most challenging time of their existence. Although it may be challenging, it is also a time to shake the tree and make a difference.
Saying that, I would like to begin the transition to the new board. Two years went by very quickly. Following are the nominations you will be receiving in the near future.
David Andrews- President Elect;
Wade Walker- Vice President;
Cynthia Miller- Treasurer;
Mike Riordan- Secretary;
Amy Mueller- Director;
Steve Bower-Director.
As always, we need our members to support the board and provide ideas and suggestions. I hope all NPMA members see the value that INFE has brought to us. We need to further strengthen the partnership and take advantage of their additional resources in the form of webinars, newsletters, improved website, etc.
I want to thank the members of NPMA for their continued support over the past two years. It was an honor and I hope you felt well served. In closing, stay active, we need to hear from you.
Warm Regards,
Mike Kelly
